Territory Manager - VT / Upstate New York 

We are seeking a positive, passionate, and detail-oriented Territory Manager based in Upstate New York or Vermont 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Represent our brands in stores with merchandising: Improving the product mix, improving shelf placement, building displays, restocking inventory.

2. Introduce new products from our brands to grocery retailers throughout the territory.

3. Develop positive and trusting relationships with all principal clients.

4. Be proactive in supporting retailers, distributors and principals with resets, store openings and trade shows.

5. Audit stores to maintain a record of new and existing placement.

 

Requirements:

    •    Positive Attitude

    •    Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint

    •    Excellent Time Management Skills

    •    Ability to Multi-Task

    •    Interest in Organic Food and Products

    •    Access to reliable transportation to get store to store and carry samples

    •    Ability to work flexible hours (overnighter/early mornings)

    •    College Degree Preferred

    •    Natural food/grocery experience required

Key Account Manager - Pacific Northwest  

Green Spoon is looking for a  Key Account Manager for the Pacific Northwest region, based in the Spokane, WA or surrounding area to call on and manage the grocery key accounts in Eastern, WA and potentially other grocery accounts in the PNW market.  This person would also help manage the territory in the Spokane area as needed.  This will primarily be a home office job with at least 1 field day per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with assigned Key Accounts and their category managers as well as Distributors (UNFI / KEHE, ETC.) 

  • Work with the team to continuously improve effectiveness and productivity. 

  • Be proactive in supporting retailers, distributors with store openings, distributor tabletops, Expo, etc. 

  • Develop and recommend strategic /sound promotional plans for key principals 

  • Field responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Green Spoon leadership team to generate ideas for growing our Principals’ business and make suggestions for improvement. 

 

MEASURABLE OBJECTIVES:

  • Present and receive buyer approvals for new lines/skus at assigned key accounts & stores

  • Develop and work closely with UNFI / KEHE representatives of assigned accounts & stores

  • Secure prime placement in planograms and on store shelves

  • Prepare and submit New Items Forms, Distributor and Retail Promotions on a consistent basis by deadlines

  • Secure key retailer appointments for our principals

  • Attend retailer meetings with principals and collaborate on all paperwork and reporting

  • Manage and oversee category review calendars that pertain to our principals and your account responsibilites 

  • The ideal candidate will be located in the Spokane area

  • College degree strongly preferred

  • 3+ years of relevant natural foods or conventional grocery experience 

  • Organic and natural experience preferred
