The Position: Territory Manager - VT / Upstate New York 

We are seeking a positive, passionate, and detail-oriented Territory Manager based in Upstate New York or Vermont 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Represent our brands in stores with merchandising: Improving the product mix, improving shelf placement, building displays, restocking inventory.

2. Introduce new products from our brands to grocery retailers throughout the territory.

3. Develop positive and trusting relationships with all principal clients.

4. Be proactive in supporting retailers, distributors and principals with resets, store openings and trade shows.

5. Audit stores to maintain a record of new and existing placement.

 

Requirements:

    •    Proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint

    •    Excellent Time Management Skills

    •    Ability to Multi-Task

    •    Interest in Organic Food and Products

    •    Access to reliable transportation to get store to store and carry samples

    •    Ability to work flexible hours (overnighter/early mornings)

    •    College Degree Preferred

    •    Natural food/grocery experience required

The Position: Key Account Manager - Conventional  

Green Spoon is looking for a Conventional Grocery Key Accounts Manager for the South region to call on Lowe's Food, Ingles, Food Lion & Food City. We are an established Natural foods broker representing the best organic and natural food lines on the shelf.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with assigned Key Accounts and their category managers as well as Distributors (UNFI / KEHE, ETC.)

  • Work with the team to continuously improve effectiveness and productivity.

  • Be proactive in supporting retailers, distributors with store openings, distributor tabletops, Expo, etc.

  • Develop and recommend strategic /sound promotional plans for key principals

  • Collaborate with Green Spoon leadership team to generate ideas for growing our Principals’ business and make suggestions for improvement. Includes strategic discussion on handling Supermarket/ Conventional business as convergence of two channels continues.

 

MEASURABLE OBJECTIVES:

  • Present and receive buyer approvals for new lines/skus at assigned key accounts

  • Develop and work closely with UNFI / KEHE representatives of assigned accounts

  • Secure prime placement in planograms.

  • Prepare and submit New Items Forms, Distributor and Retail Promotions, etc.

  • Secure key retailer appointments for our principals

  • Attend retailer meetings with principals and collaborate on all paperwork and reporting

  • Manage and oversee category review calendars that pertain to our principals

  • The ideal candidate will be located in the Seattle area

  • College degree strongly preferred

  • 3+ years of relevant natural/conventional grocery experience selling to HQ

  • Organic and natural experience preferred

The Position: Promotions & Trade Spend Coordinator 

We are looking to add an administrative position to our Promotions & trade-spend team here at our Boulder, Colorado office. We are seeking a hard working and detail oriented person with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and strengthen relationships with assigned Key Accounts, Green Spoon folks working with those accounts and Distributors (UNFI / KEHE, ETC.) personnel that work with those accounts.
Develop positive and trusting relationships with all principals as the primary point of contact. Address concerns and resolve issues. 
Work with the Green Spoon team to continuously improve effectiveness and productivity. 
Communicate with the Green Spoon team and our principle contacts to get the information needed to submit promotional plans and new item forms in a timely fashion.
Communicate with our retail and distributor partners to get info needed and relay information regarding our brands business with assigned accounts
